Mike Flemming

Copywriter

Mike has 30 years’ communication experience. He’s fast and strategically minded, with a wide tonal range: from crisp, precisely engineered logic to emotive, lyrical narrative. Mike is equally at home tackling ad campaigns, brand strategies, website copy, verbal identity guides, brochures, white papers, speeches and anything else that involves communicating in interesting, compelling ways. Copywriting he says, “is all I’ve ever done and all I ever want to do.”

For the first 20 years of his career Mike worked full-time in UK ad agencies, starting out as a copywriter and then eventually as a creative director. But you don’t get to write a lot of copy when you’re managing people and he missed it. So, for the past 12 years Mike has been freelancing for a great bunch of agencies and direct clients who value insight, ideas and clarity. The Claire Bennett Agency is now lucky enough to be one of them!
