Tree Alliance
Private Forests Tasmania needed a marketing strategy that would illustrate the multiple benefits of trees on farms and establish them as the go-to organisation for Tasmanian farmers looking for future growth. Tree Alliance was a finalist in the National Awards for marketing excellence in two campaign award categories, winning both awards at the state level.
There is a global shortage of timber with demand set to quadruple by 2050. Australia will need to plant a billion new trees by 2030 to supply our demand alone. With the available land for planting trees primarily on farmland, achievement of this goal will both rely on and reward our farmers – but our farmers cannot achieve this ambitious goal alone.
So, we created an alliance – a tree Alliance. The campaign’s ‘treety’: is to collaborate and grow our future economy and ecology through trees.
The Claire Bennett Agency has just concluded a 2.5-year engagement with Private Forests Tasmania. From discovery to strategy to implementation, we have now handed the strategy over to their newly appointed Communications Manager who can manage the established brand into the future.
